Atoning One's Guilt: an Alice's Spiritual Judge Game Review

Guess who's finally back! Finally after my 1st semester ended, I managed to find some time to write for this blog and hey, consider it as a way to start off this year with this blog. So here, I'm bringing you another game review, one that was played on my new phone as the previous one (the J4) was broken beyond repair. Without further ado, let's get started! Yup, the game that's being reviewed now is Alice's Spiritual Judge ! It's a game developed by ESC-APE by SEEL, the same developer of The Prison Boys (a game similar to this and one I really recommend you to play) and it is available now in the Play store. The game was released back in July 13th 2020. Just like its previous projects, this game can be considered as one of the visual novels type. Basically you will be playing within a story/plot while being presented the dialogues and offered the choices for your next course of action. The Storyline: In this game, you will be playing as a girl known as Alice Ka...

From a Man to a Mouse! Mousebusters Game Review

Hello there! I'm finally back after months of exhausting preparation for my university entrance exam and boy! All of those online try outs and tiring nights of studying finally paid off! Now I'm a university student and by that I just signed myself up for another new series of routines, basically its school 2.0. After I was done with the univ orientation, I finally came up with a new post, another game review, this time I'm bringing you a review of Mousebusters! Mousebusters is a game developed by Odencat, the same developer of Clock of Atonement, Bear's Restaurant, and many other games they made. This game was released on September 10th 2020 and has been hinted since June or so. This game, like other games by Odencat, is based on the touch and interact gameplay where players will be offered objectives/things to do through the dialogues and move around by taping the screen. Without further ado let's get into the review! For the story, this game tells  a story of a t...

Samsara Room Game Review! Another Fine Puzzle!

So I'm back again with another post, sorry for the long break! I had been running into some troubles lately and it took me quite some time to get back into blogging. Today I'm bringing you another game review, the title is Samsara Room! Samsara Room is a game developed by the Rusty Lake, the same company that developed the Rusty Lake and The cube Escape game series! The game was recently released to the wild a few weeks ago, specifically April 29th, 2020, which is a remake of its previous version. This game was released to celebrate Rusty Lake's fifth anniversary! (Way to go guys!!!) With that settled, now let's move on to the game! Storyline So from what I read, the game is set after Rusty Lake: Roots and it follows up the event of William's rebirth. Truth be told, I don't fully understand the full story of the Rusty Lake series, as I haven't played them all. Unlike the Cube Escape series which I have played in sequence. The first thing you notice in...

Unraveling The Past! A Bear's Restaurant Game Review

I'm back again with another game review(come to think of it, it's been a while since the last time I posted something none-game), this time I'm reviewing another game made by OdenCat in 2018. It's another narrative/storytelling game that earned my attention to it. So let's dive in! The game begins with a cat waking up from her bed, she's awakened by her partner the bear, reminding her to suit up as it was time for the restaurant to be running again. You'll change your clothes and that's where I realized that I don't know where we are and what are we doing there, turns out the bear and the cat ran a restaurant in the intersection between hell and heaven, where the good souls would arrive in the station and stop by for their last meal.  The cat works as the waiter, collecting the orders and handing out the meals. While the bear is the cook and the owner, cooking the food and managing the whole thing. Every time the cat delivers the food, h...

Game Review! The Town of Tides

Hey there! It's been a while and I have just the right alibi! The past three months have been very intense. Not a week was passed without a wave of tryouts or exams, considering it's my final year of high school. Another thing is that my schedule is so tight and filled, I just didn't have the time for my hobby, as for the most part, I resorted to games to reduce my stress instead of more productive yet refreshing activities. Not only that but the recent virus breakout, the notorious COVID-19 had made his way to Indonesia, which (un)fortunately gave the whole school a temporary quarantine for over 2 weeks! Hence, now I have the time to write something here. Enough with the background, now let's get into the business. So here, I'm bringing you another review of a game I recently finished. It's another good old pixelated RPG game, the name is "The Town of Tides". The game was developed by Odencat and was released in the mid of 2018. Just like any oth...

The Road of my Spanish Learning Journey

Ever since I was in primary school, learning languages had become an obsession of mine, I just loved it! The first language I learned is Indonesian/Bahasa hence making it my native language. The second language I learned is English, I learned many new topics thanks to my school who specifically used Oxford textbooks to accompany our study. School may be the one who improved my English but I was introduced to the language at a young age. I learned many bases of English through comic books, animated series, movies, Etc. Now as I'm already 17 years old, I'm striving for my 3rd language and that is Spanish. I decided to pick it simply because I think that I've made decent progress, not that I'm trying to be cocky but that's just it. I started to learn at the end of 2018, in such a short time I didn't make much progress but I did learn some of the basics/ common phrases we use in Spanish. As 2019 began, I started to make some improvements, It was still baby steps...

End of a journey! Lucid Dream 3 game review!

So we're finally here! To be honest, it's a brief experience, but a fun one! I finished the whole trilogy in less than 2 months. So this is going to be the final review of the Lucid Dream series (or at least until the developers announce the 4th installment). So let's get into it! The game begins with Lucy, waking up in another realm. This time she is tasked in finding the watchmaker, the Oneiromancer believes that he possesses the time machine. A big change of plan, as now Lucy wants to bring back her father, so her mother's suffering can come to an end. Here you will be faced with one complicated puzzle. Not gonna lie, it's very confusing but as time went on I started to get a hang of it. Once you found all the missing pieces of the time machine, Lucy will be summoned in a time stream, where she will see what/where everything went wrong. Lucy used to have one happy family, but on one trip, Lucy was chasing a butterfly, so distracted she wasn't awar...
