End of a journey! Lucid Dream 3 game review!

So we're finally here! To be honest, it's a brief experience, but a fun one! I finished the whole trilogy in less than 2 months. So this is going to be the final review of the Lucid Dream series (or at least until the developers announce the 4th installment). So let's get into it!

The game begins with Lucy, waking up in another realm. This time she is tasked in finding the watchmaker, the Oneiromancer believes that he possesses the time machine. A big change of plan, as now Lucy wants to bring back her father, so her mother's suffering can come to an end. Here you will be faced with one complicated puzzle. Not gonna lie, it's very confusing but as time went on I started to get a hang of it.

Once you found all the missing pieces of the time machine, Lucy will be summoned in a time stream, where she will see what/where everything went wrong. Lucy used to have one happy family, but on one trip, Lucy was chasing a butterfly, so distracted she wasn't aware of an upcoming car. Seeing her daughter in danger, her dad quickly jumped to shield Lucy. Resulting in her father's death. Lucy is really hit by the flashback, she is really sad.

Afterwards, I believe Lucy decided to cut her contract as she believes there's no point in going further. I concluded that as in one sequence Lucy burned the contract, then she would meet the Oneiromancer again, this time in a more negative atmosphere. There the Oneiromancer says that he no longer believes Lucy is capable of saving her mother. Frustrated, Lucy then asks him about tons of things (mostly her disappointments), he then disappears. But before that, he warnsLucy that there is something that is going to chase her, that she has to keep her wits or this thing would kill her, it is some sort of worm, a scary worm indeed.

From this point and on, your main task is to lead Lucy to escape the worm, you will face many obstacles and more twisting puzzles! The final puzzle is very interesting. Basically, you will be stargazing to find some stars. Once you found them you will see what each of them represents, here they are :
The telescope!

Lucy's father! He will drop the umbrella, better go and get it!

Oneiromancer's planet

What's left of the Watchmaker's planet

Mr. Moon

A place we'll discuss later...

Once it's over, you need to go outside to take her father's umbrella, then she will jump from the top stair, where she will be eaten directly by the worm. But inside, you will find yourself in a room, with the worm's heart attached to the wall. There Lucy will see many drawings, most she claimed to be scary, so she decides to cheer them up! For me, this is an important stage for Lucy as she is learning how to confront her fear...

What used to be dark drawings now turned to this

After that, Lucy will use the umbrella to stab the Worm's heart, resulting in her to be thrown out. After that, Lucy will meet again with the Oneiromancer. Lucy is a bit angered by his sudden presence, but he explains that this is actually a part of his plan! He then says that all he wishes for is for her to be able to confront, conquer her fears. He then orders Lucy to reach the building we saw with the telescope, he says that there Lucy will find what she exactly needs.

The light than explains to Lucy that all the things she had seen, it's all a mere illusion/a false view. She is still trapped in the past, in the sea of sorrowful, while her mother had already moved on. Not only that, she was so concerned by her mother that she didn't realize that the one who needs help, is herself all along. It's a deep message for all of us to apply in our life, that trouble will always occur, but no matter what just keep moving, all the pain is temporary, there is always something great ahead of you, something that God has prepared for us.

I guess that's all for the Lucid Dream trilogy! I've gotta say I'm really impressed. The storyline is good, and how they carried it out is remarkable. The artworks/designs they use are also nice, each level are designed to bring out some personas/atmosphere to it, or some level just contains great artwork, like this one!

Overall, I really recommend playing this game. So for those who love puzzles or just someone who is looking for nice artworks, this is a must game to play! Well, guess this is where we will depart. Thanks for reading and have a good day!

Re-coloring the grey spaces: A "Lilac and Her Light" Game Review

Howdy folks! How is it all going? Hopefully good. So I recently managed to set aside some time to complete a game (as if I never have time for it XD), and write a review of it. This time, its going to be a brief review of a game I finished in less than an hour. This is a review of Lilac and Her Light! Lilac and Her Light is a game developed by Npckc and was released back in October 2018. Its a story based pixelated game(one of my favorite types!) or you can say that its an RPG/Role playing games. You can download it through the Play Store or the developer's website (I'll drop the link below later). The game is pretty small, only around 16 Mb, meaning its practically accessible with phones nowadays.  The Story At the start, we will find ourselves playing as a girl, named Lilac, who lives in an extraordinary grey house, in which every house hold items and Lilac herself are also grey. We soon learn that she has an odd condition where everything that made contact with her would los

Working on a Terrific Masterpiece! A Death Palette Game Review

Howdy, folks! It's me again, the author of this lonely blog. these past weeks have been filled with semester breaks, something that I truly enjoy after all the hustle in the 2nd semester. In that break, I have played many games, some of which I'll review and bring here. Now, let's get into one of them, the menu for today will be a review of Death Palette. Enjoy! Death Palette is a puzzle & story based game with horror elements to it. The game was developed by Sleeping museum, an indie developer based in Japan, and was made available in google Play Store in February 2020. The game has been around for some time but it was only starting to get attention after its latest update, one that brought an English translation to it. Hence, allowing more people to experience the game. The game weighs around 50 MB, quite light in my opinion. With its introduction out of the way, let's dive into its parts! The Story The game tells a story of a beginner painter, who was given an un

In Search of a Bird's Family: A Grayland Game Review

Hello and back again with me. Yes, it hasn't been long after my last post and if you're thinking why, the answer is quite simple. As for now, I'm trying to improve my writing, both in terms of quality and as a habit, and I figured that this activity may be a suitable means of doing it(and hey! Another legit reason to play games!). Alright enough with the background, and let's get into this game! Its a game review of none other than Grayland. Grayland is a 2D adventure game developed and published by 1DER Entertainment back in December 2019. This unity powered game is available to play on both pc and mobile experience. This game doesn't take up much space as it only weighs around 50 MB.  Story The game begins with a cutscene showing some hunters who just caught a bird nest, complete with the eggs and the bird. After they left, we will see another bird, previously shot down by the hunters, getting back up and in pursue of its family. Along the way, we will see how mes
