Riddles to solve! Who killed my sister game review

Hi there, folks! Its me again, with another post that happens to be another game review (which as a matter of fact is what I'll be posting for most of the time XD). It sure is good to be back. I'm currently in my 2nd semester of university, and oh boy, things are getting busier and busier. But knowing me, I will always have the time to play games, and that brings us to our current content! This, is gonna be a review of "who killed my sister"! Let's get into it!

Who Killed My Sister

Who killed my sister is a mobile game released back in February 2017 and developed by GOLDEN DOG, K.K. which can be downloaded for free in the Google Play store. The game is not that heavy so I believe that most phones nowadays are capable of accommodating the gameplay as its size is less then 50 MB. It's a story based game filled with countless riddles, of which you must solve to progress through the plot.

The Story

The story begins with our character coming home from a trip and upon arriving he stumbled upon the lifeless body of her sister in her room. Spread across the rooms were papers with riddles written on it, implying our character that these are the clues to solve her death. We are then confronted with 4 girls who claimed to be his sister's friend, who were also present with her when our character was away. Hence, these 4 are our prime suspects and we must go through the clues to uncover and point out who is the murderer.

Gameplay

So as for the gameplay aside from the occasional chit-chat with the other characters, the core of it lies on the riddles! In total there are around 99 riddles you must solve to make your way to the end. The riddles are interesting, many of them are confusing at first glance but upon further thinking on you own you'll feel a sense of satisfactory upon solving it, especially the mind boggling one. If you appear to hit a dead end, worry not because the game also provides hints that you can access through watching ads.

Overall Thought

Finishing this game was a brief experience (although it took me a few days to finish it) but one that left on me an impression of playing it. The story its based on was decent to say the least, as *spoiler alert I'm not wholly satisfied with how the case ended. The theme/soundtrack is fine, as its partially responsible in making some scenes/parts (dialogues with other characters) stood out. But keep in mind as most of the gameplay revolves around resolving riddles, the soundtrack in that part is not that enticing. So for my overall thought, I say I give this game a 7 out 10, mainly thanks to its story (especially how it begins and some of the soundtracks). Regardless of its downs I still like this game so I'm for looking forward for more games to come from GOLDEN DOG, K.K.

Alright, then, I think this is all I have to show now. So go head to the play store and see the game yourself. Oh, and thank you for reading! Have a good day!

Samsara Room Game Review! Another Fine Puzzle!

So I'm back again with another post, sorry for the long break! I had been running into some troubles lately and it took me quite some time to get back into blogging. Today I'm bringing you another game review, the title is Samsara Room! Samsara Room is a game developed by the Rusty Lake, the same company that developed the Rusty Lake and The cube Escape game series! The game was recently released to the wild a few weeks ago, specifically April 29th, 2020, which is a remake of its previous version. This game was released to celebrate Rusty Lake's fifth anniversary! (Way to go guys!!!) With that settled, now let's move on to the game! Storyline So from what I read, the game is set after Rusty Lake: Roots and it follows up the event of William's rebirth. Truth be told, I don't fully understand the full story of the Rusty Lake series, as I haven't played them all. Unlike the Cube Escape series which I have played in sequence. The first thing you notice in...

Re-coloring the grey spaces: A "Lilac and Her Light" Game Review

Howdy folks! How is it all going? Hopefully good. So I recently managed to set aside some time to complete a game (as if I never have time for it XD), and write a review of it. This time, its going to be a brief review of a game I finished in less than an hour. This is a review of Lilac and Her Light! Lilac and Her Light is a game developed by Npckc and was released back in October 2018. Its a story based pixelated game(one of my favorite types!) or you can say that its an RPG/Role playing games. You can download it through the Play Store or the developer's website (I'll drop the link below later). The game is pretty small, only around 16 Mb, meaning its practically accessible with phones nowadays.  The Story At the start, we will find ourselves playing as a girl, named Lilac, who lives in an extraordinary grey house, in which every house hold items and Lilac herself are also grey. We soon learn that she has an odd condition where everything that made contact with her would los...

Working on a Terrific Masterpiece! A Death Palette Game Review

Howdy, folks! It's me again, the author of this lonely blog. these past weeks have been filled with semester breaks, something that I truly enjoy after all the hustle in the 2nd semester. In that break, I have played many games, some of which I'll review and bring here. Now, let's get into one of them, the menu for today will be a review of Death Palette. Enjoy! Death Palette is a puzzle & story based game with horror elements to it. The game was developed by Sleeping museum, an indie developer based in Japan, and was made available in google Play Store in February 2020. The game has been around for some time but it was only starting to get attention after its latest update, one that brought an English translation to it. Hence, allowing more people to experience the game. The game weighs around 50 MB, quite light in my opinion. With its introduction out of the way, let's dive into its parts! The Story The game tells a story of a beginner painter, who was given an un...
