Another dream to travel! Lucid Dream Chapter 2

Finally, it's December! Which means two things, Chrismast and tons of free time (I hope). So while I'm here I brought another review, a continuation of the previous game I talked about. It's Lucid Dream 2. I paid around 8.000 Rupiah for it, equivalent to 0.70$, and for that price, it's one of the best purchases I made this year! Without further ado let's get into it!

So in the last game, the Oneicromancer paid a visit to Lucy. He told her about these "Gods" that have the power to save her mom. After this, the game begins and you will meet Metron, a sentient being who guards the place. There Lucy asks him for help, Metron accepts it by one condition, for  Lucy to do him a favor. Basically, Lucy is asked to set free a lost soul who had been stuck there, unable to move. You'll face many puzzles, at some point, you will meet a flying elephant (I forgot the name tho) who will ask you for help. Later on, he will give Lucy a potion or some sort of spell to set the lost soul free. Once you gave the potion, you'll see that the lost soul is Lucy's father. He can't leave in peace as her mother still suffers a huge loss after his death, but thanks to Lucy he is now free(or is he?)

Then Lucy is taken to yet another realm, she meets a pile of rocks who happen to be the gods Metron told us. There the gods agree to give Lucy a chance to prove her capability to complete her quest, she is then taken to another land.

There are so many puzzles in this level, so much I don't think it's necessary to point them all here. So you are told to search the missing son of a hermit or such(I don't know what the guy is). There you will explore the realm, find a wounded centaur, ride a boat, visit the jail of the death, and finally, you find the wife of the guy, who happens to where the son is. She can't leave because she is dead, but thanks to the centaur we are given the potion of immortality so she can escape the prison. Once you reunited the family (the wife, the guy, and the son), the scene when dark. Indicating that Lucy is about to wake up.

Lucy suddenly wakes up in a mansion, we will be welcomed by a crying humanoid figure, which if you watched the intro at the beginning, you will notice that it's Lucy's mother, in a deranged state. Lucy will try to comfort her, once she did, she is thrown back to reality. Turns out, her mother had decided to bring Lucy to a therapist, considering all of Lucy's sequence of lucid dreams.

Unfortunately, the therapist is going to be a little late, so to kill some time he decided to give Lucy a riddle. Basically, he asks you to assemble the Oneiromancer's head. You'll travel to each room and see that this therapist is quiet eccentric, I mean why would a therapist needs a room to store strange creatures...

After we complete the puzzle, the doctor's room will be unlocked and you can step inside. Once you're inside, you will be greeted with a man who claimed to be Lucy's Therapist, there you'll solve a  mini-puzzle funny enough the puzzle actually helps us to remember those we met along the journey. Then the therapist comments that Lucy suffers a unique disease after you push the mirror(after you finish the puzzle), you'll see that the therapist is actually the oneiromancer!

He then warned Lucy that time is running out, that if she wants to save her mother she needs to hurry before her mother succumbs to the darkness. Then Lucy is brought back to the dream realm by Oneiromancer, this time this is where the game ends, leading to a final conclusion, the 3rd chapter.

Li'l trivia, during the final meeting I can't tell if it was real or just Lucy's lucid dream...

Now, I just need to purchase the 3rd chapter to finish the game! Boy, it has been a fun and thrilling run indeed. For this chapter, I give it a solid 8.7 out of 10, the artworks and the environment is just remarkable. I'm just glad that we finally meet Lucy's father, indeed it's a brief meeting but I'm fine with that. Guess that's all for now folks! Thank you for reading and have a good day : )

Samsara Room Game Review! Another Fine Puzzle!

So I'm back again with another post, sorry for the long break! I had been running into some troubles lately and it took me quite some time to get back into blogging. Today I'm bringing you another game review, the title is Samsara Room! Samsara Room is a game developed by the Rusty Lake, the same company that developed the Rusty Lake and The cube Escape game series! The game was recently released to the wild a few weeks ago, specifically April 29th, 2020, which is a remake of its previous version. This game was released to celebrate Rusty Lake's fifth anniversary! (Way to go guys!!!) With that settled, now let's move on to the game! Storyline So from what I read, the game is set after Rusty Lake: Roots and it follows up the event of William's rebirth. Truth be told, I don't fully understand the full story of the Rusty Lake series, as I haven't played them all. Unlike the Cube Escape series which I have played in sequence. The first thing you notice in...

Giving company on a long lonely trip! A Terasene-Girl X Sun Game Review

Girl X Sun-Terasene is another developed by the Sleeping Museum, the maker of the Death Palette game. The game is developed with Unity engine and is available to play in mobile through google play store. The games was released back in May 2018, but it has earned more attention recently following another update that translated the game in English, somewhat the same case with Death Palette. The game has been downloaded for over 50.000 times and it weighs around 30 MB, so its indeed a light game for your device. The game can be considered as one of the story based adventure/single player platformer (?) game, although its not that kind of hard/more common action.  The Story It started off with a girl who is taking a walk at night away from a huge castle. What makes it unique is that the girl is carrying an umbrella. We are then told of her condition, that she can't make contact with sunlight as it may harm her, hence the umbrella. But why is she taking an umbrella at night? It's be...

Working on a Terrific Masterpiece! A Death Palette Game Review

Howdy, folks! It's me again, the author of this lonely blog. these past weeks have been filled with semester breaks, something that I truly enjoy after all the hustle in the 2nd semester. In that break, I have played many games, some of which I'll review and bring here. Now, let's get into one of them, the menu for today will be a review of Death Palette. Enjoy! Death Palette is a puzzle & story based game with horror elements to it. The game was developed by Sleeping museum, an indie developer based in Japan, and was made available in google Play Store in February 2020. The game has been around for some time but it was only starting to get attention after its latest update, one that brought an English translation to it. Hence, allowing more people to experience the game. The game weighs around 50 MB, quite light in my opinion. With its introduction out of the way, let's dive into its parts! The Story The game tells a story of a beginner painter, who was given an un...
